Itinerary
Morning: Depart from Arusha in the early morning and drive to Arusha National Park.
Mid-Morning: Begin with a game drive in the park. Look out for giraffes, buffalos, zebras, warthogs, and a variety of antelope species. The park is also home to the elusive leopard and a large population of flamingos around the Momella Lakes.
Midday: Picnic lunch at a scenic spot overlooking Mount Meru or by the shores of Momella Lakes.
Afternoon: Enjoy a guided walking safari in the company of an armed ranger. Get up close and personal with the flora and fauna, and learn about the park’s unique geological features such as the Ngurdoto Crater, known as “Little Ngorongoro.”
Late Afternoon: Conclude the day with an optional canoeing trip on Momella Lake to view waterfowl, hippos, and the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.
